Riverford on Home Farm, grows organic vegetables and is part of the Riverford network of local farms, delivering across Yorkshire and the North East.

Riverford’s aim is to give local people the freshest possible seasonal organic fruit and veg at a fair price to both customers and growers. Customers get great value organic veg (around 20% cheaper than supermarkets), delivered free to their door by the shortest possible route.

Our environmental impact is very important to us and we always look for the option that involves the least fossil fuel usage – in packaging, importing produce, deliveries, office management and farm work. We never air freight our produce. We’re also kind to ugly veg – we won’t discriminate against a wonky carrot if we know it will taste great (and help to reduce unnecessary food waste).
