We are a small family business set up in late 2004 to produce non volume production of specialised Chutneys, Flavoured Oils, Vinegars, Curds, Homemade Soup, Mustards And Preserves that cannot readily be purchased from your local supermarket shelf. A statement from Lin Whitehead founder of the business stated that "I do not intend to even attempt to compete with the large companies already producing Chutneys, Vinegars, Mustards and Oils, but have decided to focus on low volume specialised merchandise that cannot be found on the supermarket shelf".Our Chutneys, Vinegars, Mustards, Oils, Sauces & Preserves are ALL handmade in small controlled batches in order to maintain subtle individual flavour and quality which is a real advantage over mass produced products that can be purchased in the local supermarkets. We also DO NOT use extracts, essence, additives, colouring agents, flavourings, setting agents, and are GM FREE making ALL our products natural and suitable for vegetarians. We also where possible use "local" allotment societies for our materials when in season in fact we also recycle all our kitchen waste back to the allotment society for their ever growing demand for ?natural? compost material.
